There were 315 full-page ads in the NT News* in January.
There were 100 half-page ads in the paper for the month.
There were 122 quarter-page ads in the paper during January
That did not count:
. Government announcements.
. Covid information.
. Racing information.
. Any folded lift out.
. Any magazine inclusions.
The least number of full-page advertisements (1) was printed on January 1 and 11.
The most significant advertising pages (22) were printed on January 25 and 31.
Stories on crime make up a regular story component. In January, there were 30 stories about crime. Eleven of those stories were detailed on the front pages of papers.
There were 1584 pages printed during January. Of these, 395.5 pages were advertisements or 24.96% of paginated pages.
In Addition:
There were seven advertising lift-outs in the paper during January. They totalled 138 pages of print.
* Includes both the ‘NT News’ and ‘Sunday Territorian’.
Any announcements of festivals, celebratory weeks, awards presentations and so on (which are advertisements) are generally not included.
